Primatics Financial Community Participation in Q1 2010
Primatics Financial created a matching program following January’s devastating earthquake in Haiti. Employees donated over $2,500 to various organizations, which Primatics matched dollar-for-dollar with donations to the American Red Cross and Save the Children. In total, organizations received $5,166 to aid those affected by the earthquake. Primatics also held a coat drive during the month of January, benefitting Reston Interfaith. Over thirty coats were collected and donated along with other household items and appliances.
In February, several Primatics employees donated blood to Inova Blood Services during a blood drive coordinated by Jones Lang LaSalle, building management for Greensboro Corporate Center. Each blood donation benefits up to three patients in need.
Primatics supported the Doorways for Women and Families Annual Benefit Auction as a Host Committee Sponsor. The event, held March 21, 2010, was attended by several female members of Primatics management. Doorways for Women and Families strives to end homelessness and family and intimate partner violence by offering safe shelter and housing, life changing support services and community advocacy.
